Super, nooit meer zonder !!

Mooie kwaliteit, was erg benieuwd of het zou helpen, gezien ik erg onrustig slaap. Ik wil nooit meer zonder, slaap veel beter door en voelt als een omarming en dat zorgt ervoor dat ik minder beweeglijk ben in mijn slaap.dus minder onrustig, geen slaapparalyse meer gehad sinds ik de therapeutische deken in gebruik heb, sjouw het overal mee naar toe.

Great... Until the beads shift

After 6 months, all the beads had shifted to the edges of the blanket making it useless. Lovely for the first few months.

Ik had de deken eerst voor mezelf besteld met mijn hsp , maar mijn autistische zoon heeft hem nu totdat die van hem binnen is .Hij heeft al 3 nachten super goed geslapen wat al maanden niet zo was .Daarom ben ik enorm blij hiermee .Echt een aanrader <3

THE ITEM
The recommended size for my body weight was a double size, however this sold out. my bed is a king and adult can add an extra few pounds but i went for the king even though i was slightly worried. the item came 4 days early and came packaged nicely and came in a white bag with handles. The colour is the super cute like the picture and it is soft and good quality. It is really heavy so i feel like its an arm workout every time i pick it up and move it but thats expected. It is hard to lift but its easier to drag but its not that bag of a deal since the weight is the point of the product.

THE EXPERIENCE
so when i first laid under the blanket it was such a strange (in a good way) experience. The weight was nice and relaxing and it felt really good on my body. I have slept with it on top of me and on top of my quilt too. Surprisingly, it doesn't get too warm and stuffy just under the blanket so its fine during the hot summer. I feel like i get use to the weight, but i do feel it helps calm my body and anxiety. It can get quite annoying when i wake up and i wanna take it off so i just end up kicking it to the bottom of my bed. The beads are unnoticeable and they evenly fit to your body shape.

MY WORRY
i was worried if this was dangerous to sleep with but i think it may just be unsafe for young children. please do your research. The description also says they are made from micro-beads made from glass so i was scared to sit on the blanket and break the glass/damage but i think the beads are too small to break.

OVERALL
I feel like this is a great blanket to ease anxiety and maybe relax you at night time. as some blankets are like £100 this is worth the money and hopefully it lasts.

PROS
Cheap and cheerful, nicely made, soft, nice colour.

Bought this to help with severe anxiety, not really expecting much. Unfortunately it works far too well, the relief is almost instant. But I'm now depressed when I'm not under it.

CONS
Its very heavy (I'm aware that's the point of it)
My husband isn't interested in sleeping under it with me, nearly threw his back out trying to move it off his side of the bed. I've also nearly knocked myself out by trying to pull it up the bed to cover my shoulders.
Our daughter sat under it and told me in no uncertain terms that I "will never see this blanket again" so I had to buy another one for her.

First off this item arrived within days of me ordering it and almost a week ahead of schedule, very impressed. On opening it I immediately liked the blush pink colour and the feel of the material. The sewing was all neat and very secure. The micro beads are well padded in the pockets which makes them almost undetectable.
However I’m not sure if it’s a fault with the blanket or if it’s intentional (this is my first weighted blanket) but the weight is not equally distributed at all. There are 3 or 4 pockets on one end of the blanket that seem very overfilled to the point of being like beanbags while other pockets near the middle appear empty of beads. It was too uncomfortable to sleep with the heavy end on my upper body. As a result of this it just feels like I’m sleeping under a normal comforter except for my feet that feel uncomfortably restricted.

Really love this pale pink blanket! It’s soft and smooth like cotton.
The weight is spread all over so it doesn’t feel like it’s too heavy. It’s very comfortable and I bought the large size so that I can double over if needed.
I have restless legs and it really helps. I’m so impressed.
I’ve also slept much better, which is amazing for this nocturnal insomniac.
It’s not too hot or sweaty. I take it camping with me and if I’m staying at a friends.
It is heavy to carry around though so I’m glad it came in it’s own bag.
All in all I’d give it 100%

Good product, BAD SMELL!

This blanket arrived early, and was packaged securely. When opened, I tried the blanket and the first thing I noticed was the smell, it was horrible! Not sure why it smelt so bad, considering the blanket appeared to be clean. This is the reason I have deducted 2 stars from my review.
Although this company advises against machine washing, I couldn’t think of another way to get rid of that awful stench, so I tried it and thankfully it didn’t break, so this blanket is pretty good quality. My nose was finally relieved from this awful curse of a smell and I could relax... and try the blanket for a second time.

The weight of it is comforting while not being over powering. It’s what you’d expect as a weighted blanket. Overall, good product, strange smell. Thanks!

Ordered one for our double bed it is so heavy I can hardly lift it - the guy who delivered it even commented on how ridiculous the weight was. It’s also very thick so there is no way you can sleep under it without becoming far too warm. Wanted to return but the postage cost is more than the products worth! The moral of the story - if somethings price seems too good to be true it usual is! Wish I had just saved my money & bought from a reputable brand as this product isn’t fit for purpose.

Best Used as a Mattress Liner

I brought the Biggest one which is only just about large enough for a 3 Foot Single Bed with not much overhang (top bottom and over the sides of the bed).
This Blanket is Extremely Heavy
- I found that it kept falling off of the bed at night no matter what I did
So I am now instead using it as a Mattress Liner which funnily enough makes the mattress twice as comfortable as it was before - for this reason it was worth it as a purchase !
it's a pretty colour sort of a Soft Pink without being at all garish.
On the down side I couldn't see any washing instructions on or with it - which is going to be a problem because this thing weighs about 7 kilos and it's Big and Really heavy so I can't see it going into a washing machine because when wet it would surely break the drum of the washing machine. To have it Dry Cleaned I would think would be expensive although you can probable buy some sort of dry foam cleaner for it (I don't know).
Overall i'm glad I brought it but it's Bad that there are no cleaning instructions on or with it because being a Bedding type blanket - YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO WASH OR CLEAN IT FROM TIME TO TIME !
