It's heavy, does the trick, I also got some hex lox for my back wheels (it was quick release before) and I kept the quick release on the front wheels so I wrap up the frame with the front wheels and then secure the back frame with the back wheel (or just the back frame alone if I have to since I have hex lox on the back wheels now) to whatever immovable metal I can find.
The U size is just enough, it's small but not too small. I wouldn't have gotten smaller than this personally because you never know what you can attach your bike to.
I have a few gripes though:
1) I don't use the mounting system cuz I don't wanna scratch up my bike + hear the clanking noise, because of the cable, transporting this thing is more of a pain, keep that in mind. I need a small backpack with me at all times now until I can find a solution
2) Because I don't use the mounting system, that silver metal on the Kryptonite lock is useless for me and is NOT coated in the rubber so you have to be careful when using the U lock to not scratch up the bike when you lock it, and it's super super easy to scratch up a bike
3) I read some reviews of the lock not working. I had this this morning, and I figured out what the issue is. Inside the key hole, are layers of metal discs with indentations (for the key). If they don't line up, you can't put the whole key in and you can't turn. So be careful when removing key in and out, or you'll be stuck for a few minutes like I was, trying to wedge the key in, turning it a little, then pulling back a little and repeating until eventually all the discs line up so you can insert the key fully and are able to lock/unlock.
The mount is great you can actually unscrew it and get the 2 parts apart and can rotate the holder's angle. It's versatile with the allen key to really customize it to your needs and bike. Be careful though, all the rotating on mine caused the rubber to tear . After about 1 hour, I finally found a spot for it that doesn't rub anywhere and is out of the way!
UPDATE: careful when using the mount on your bike. If you have it tight and want to twist and turn it to get the placement just right, you may end up ruining your bike in certain scenarios. I had a vintage Bianchi sticker (I am unable to find anywhere to replace) that is a paint protector with logo printed on, it now has stress marks and cracks from the rubber being on tight and turning for fine tuning. In the end, I don't use the holder so that was all usless.

Durable coating on the lock. Everything is nice and beefy with substantial weight. Haven’t used the frame mount.
Two small issues. This new version is still a bit expensive. I know our CAD value to USD doesn’t help.
Second, the keys are great, but where they are cut, I think they are called ‘bits’, they are quite sharp. The key is on my key ring which I usually keep in my front pants pocket. The problem is the bits are so sharp they catch on my pants pockets when putting them there or taking them out. I might wear through a pair of pants or two before the teeth end up dull. Now that I think about it, I’ll take a file to it. 😆
