Great little holder for the price. There is a rubber inside so your phone wont get scratches. The only thing that I font like is that its not easy to take off the whole holder with you. So I gave it 4 stars.

Safe, tight grip

My worry when buying this was that the tri-claw system would not give enough grip on the phone and it could fly out if going over a big bump. To my surprise and delight I found it to be very strongly sprung and can shake the holder around without any worries of my phone popping out.

It is decently slim and sits low on the handlebars (unlike others I’ve seen which stick out a lot). The mount is good quality, I like the fold-up lever. It comes with plenty of silicone inserts to match many diameters of handlebar. Easy to install and easy to configure/tilt.

The one thing I would say isn’t the best is that the lock feature is very stiff and hard to operate but as the general grip it has on my phone is pretty excellent I haven’t found myself needing to use the lock.

[Edit: top notch customer service too! I had a problem where the body came apart at the bottom due to faulty screw fixing and I emailed the short address for the company and I got an immediate reply with an order to send a replacement and it arrived within 2 days. Perfect!]

Like you I read reviews about this and the praise they give us well deserved. Fitting with just one bolt was very easy. The clamp works very smoothly, you just pull up one of the top corners and all the corners move out making putting in or taking out your phone easy peasy.
Things to note:
* If your phone is big and has a thick case, you might struggle to get it completely in. For me, I just take my phone out from its case - problem solved.
* The unit itself does not have a quick release from the handlebars, so it would be a faff transferring it between bikes. I guess their solution is "buy two" 😉.
* It's adjustable in every direction, so you can set it just right for you.

Sturdy

I used this on my Honda monkey bike fixed on to the handle bars just adjacent to the handlebar fixing. It was tight for space but got it tightened up. Held my rugged ulefone well and didn't move during a three hour ride. Lock button on the back is a good feature.
All seems well built.

I had a bit of a difficult time trying to get this on my bike due to having oddly shaped handlebars (and trying to fit it in the dark) but managed to fit the holder on after taking out some of the rubber dampeners. It can take both small and large phones as it's expandable. Once my phone was in there it felt very sturdy and did not move/shake about.

I had a RamMount prior to this but it went with the sale of my bike. I was searching for a suitable alternative and almost went for the QuadLock but couldn't stomach the chunky case or the price.

The Lamicall Phone Holder has a quick release style compression connection which allows you to relatively easily swap it between bikes. This proved really handy while my Tiger 800 was in for a service. Simply switched out to the loan bike and allowed me to get across London with ease (or as easy as London ever is).

I was a little worried that the clasp wouldn't fit around the fairly thick handlebars on the Triumph Tiger but as you can see in the photo it works very well.

The phone holder works when you push the phone into the mount in an upward direction. This mechanically opens the phone mount up. Once seated you release the upward pressure and the mount automatically grips your phone. To ensure it's secure there is a red lock switch on the back of the unit that stops the mount from opening. This is a little stiff to start with but that does give you a little more confidence in the product.

So it's certainly less hassle than the mounts with the rubber clasp to hold your phone in place. It's probably a little more effort than a quad lock but not significantly and most of all you don't need a proprietory phone case.

All in all, I can't fault it.

Supporto smartphone ok per la moto!

Per ora utilizzato in due viaggi con la mia moto da turismo e tutto va molto bene.
Ho un telefono impermeabile e quindi nessuna preoccupazione per qualche goccia di pioggia, poi dietro il cupolino é anche abbastanza protetto.
Ottime le possibilità di regolazione, inclinazione e rotazione orizzontale/verticale anche se, inizialmente, il materiale plastico della rotella di regolazione non da una bella sensazione di soliditá... Peccato che la stessa rotella non riesca a fissare con grandissima forza lo snodo a sfera (per questo do solo in robustezza le 4 stelle e in tutte le altre voci 5 stelle) ma, comunque, il tutto resta ben fermo in viaggio e, soprattutto, senza fastidiose vibrazioni.
Bene il gancio metallico del bloccaggio, con diversi spessori gialli e neri da aggiungere o togliere a seconda delle dimensioni del tubo dove va fissato. Per curiosità ho quindi provato sullo stelo dello specchietto, con tutti gli strati di gomma riempitiva al loro posto e si é ben fissato.
Poi ho definitivamente installato sul manubrio, ovviamente togliendo uno strato di gomma giallo ed uno nero. In entrambe le configurazioni provate, nessuna vibrazione sui dossi o sulle sconnessioni delle stradine dissestate.
Ottima la funzione di sicurezza col tastino rosso di blocco del meccanismo a molla di ritenzione, posto sul retro della piastra. Devo ammettere che non ho mai temuto di perdere il telefono, anche nei trasferimenti autostradali, proprio per le ottime sensazioni di stabilitá da me percepite durante la guida.
Rapporto qualitá/prezzo ottimo ed é proprio quello che cercavo per i miei viaggi in moto.
Soddisfatto del prodotto.

I've had this holder for less than a week but had the prompt from Amazon to submit a review. I've used it for Satnav on my bike every day since I fitted it and it's kept my phone secure and steady over some very rough tracks. Obviously I can't yet confirm it's long term durability but it does feel very robust so hopefully it will last for a long time. One thing to be aware of though, it is listed at two different prices and I nearly paid £4 more for it when I clicked on the first search result so I would have been somewhat miffed if I'd not noticed the lower price before I placed my order (and both listings are supplied by Lamicall)

No idea why this has such a good rating? Mine broke after inserting my phone into it for the first time. I didn't have it out of the box more for more than two minutes let alone have an opertunity to fit the thing to my bike! Put my S21 Ultra into the holder and locked it in place, all looked good and so I removed it and the bottom hinge's were locked open, couldn't close them so returned it within an hour of it being delivered! Build quality isn't great and I doubt it would see you through six months of heavy use.

Amazing Value for Money - Simple Solution to mounting your Phone

This product never ceases to bring a smile , I bought this to mount my phone to my motorcycle for a then forth coming road trip, my touring companions had invested in some far more upmarket solutions however they suffered with constant failures all of basic nature but failures none the less
While the Lamicall just works without a fuss, Its not without its limitations I have a Galaxy Note8 in a protective case and all though it fits it is the limitations of this product so if you have a larger phone then this product is not for you
