Simplifies Cling Film Battles! Cuts Kitchen Foil so easily, with a less cluttered draw! Recommended

Fab, simply loved the idea of these dispensers, and when on a lightening deal: we snapped up the Parat, but sadly we returned the same day it was delivered, unfortunately, as the XXL kitchen rolls we use, their circumference being to wide that they didn't fit, no chance, but I was bitten, I had now seen the way, lol, and we returned having already ordered the Parat F2, this, because of the impression left from the initial play around with the Parat dispenser, fab I thought!

As I envisaged how long gone will be the days of d@mn irritating battles with cling film, with it constantly sticking to my arms and, well, everywhere, very irritating to say the least, as no matter what I've tried, mostly it ends up creased around my hands/arms etc.

Kitchen foil never being a problem, but then both act to always clutter up a draw, yet, these fab Parat dispensers cancels out many of said issues, of which, we condition ourselves to put up with over the years, and as our kitchen roll didn't fit, the Parat F2 model arrived swiftly and is utterly fab.

And even though our cling film length is approx 330mm, it still dispenses the film with an easy slide of the cutter.

To repeat, I/we simply love it, after using a couple of weeks now, positioned all nice and convenient; it's now helping simplify many little jobs, from cling film/foil for our little ones packed lunches, to placing cling film over dishes today protect the food inside, thankfully, this is now no longer a bugbear for me, gone is the fight of having it tangled around my everything.

The dispenser itself seems well made, not much to say ecce it seems robust enough for its job. Attaching to the wall was easy, I was told, and once both rolls were inside - I was eager to give it a whirl.

And yes, both Cling Film & Kitchen Foil nicely cut off in inch ish lengths to test, then I went a tad enthusiastic, as I started just to cut away, bit after bit of both film & foil.

I must have cut around 10 each, yet, NOT ONE ISSUE, all sliced off with easy, and we have had non of the issues/problems others have reported, as both rolls being cut as per advertised, hopefully this will last.

With a resounding YES, we're certainly happy enough to recommend this Leifheit Comfortline Parat F2 dispenser.

What a happy difference it's made, from simply helping unclutter a draw, to easy cutting of Film & Foil.

So.yes, a very good purchase for us, happy days.

Ich habe den Wandrollenhalter in 2015 gekauft. Die Schneidrollen funktionieren gut, das Einlegen neuer Rollen ist manchmal etwas fummelig, aber das ist nicht wirklich ein Thema. Vor kurzem ist mir ein Papierrollenhalter abgebrochen. Darüber habe ich mich schon geärgert und wollte mal nach Konkurrenzprodukten schauen. In den Bewertungen zu meinem Rollenhalter habe ich dann aber gelesen, dass jemand dieses Ersatzteil von Leifheit kostenlos bekommen hat. Also ab auf die Leifheit Homepage, Ersatzteil suchen, in den Warenkorb, kostenlos bestellen. Gestern war dann der Postbote da. Was für ein Service! Dafür volle Punktzahl und ganz sicher: in Zukunft werde ich nach Möglichkeit und bedenkenlos Produkte von Leifheit kaufen. Solch ein seltener Service am Kunden muss belohnt und beworben werden! Also klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.

Yes the instructions only amount to about 2 drawings but they are perfectly adequate that is all you need. As the other man said press side buttons, take off front, place the back against wall, place a level on top (there is a handy flat area for spices which can be used) mark slot holes with a pencil, drill holes and use the correct Rawlplugs, screw the back to the wall (not too hard as it is plastic) offer up the front and pull the foil and clingfilm through the LARGE holes, as shown in the diagrams, not the slots !!!! Because when you press the front back into position it produces the slots with the products inserted. Note it will take cling film at 320 and sliders should be to the right, it's better to pull out product press flat against holder and slide cutter right to left and back again and it works perfectly every time. Much better than the one I had years ago that never worked and had to be thrown away.

I always spend hours trying to decide what would do the job best and usually end up banging my head against the wall. For everyone that says something is brilliant someone else pans. For every holder there are those who say it wont cut anything. I have absolutely no complaints about the cutting of this item which i use mainly for foil and greaseproof paper. I have found it is best to hold the material to be cut until you get a start with the cutter and then it cuts excellently.
As i have a microscopic kitchen i found the easiest place to put it was, as seen in the photo, on a cupboard door which means it takes up basically no space, but gives me back the space the rolls will have taken up in cupboards and draws.
I have only 1 idea i would like to pass to the manufacturers, would be a nice idea to have a spring inside to take up the space and hold the rolls in place rather then them moving from side to side when cutting.
Overall i would heartily recommend this and would surely buy again if I ever needed another :-)

This is the second of these items we have bought, the last one having lasted 12 years.
Loading and cutting the rolls takes a bit of practice, but once mastered works well.
As others have said, instruction diagrams are confusing. Load the rolls foil on top, film on bottom (the cutters are different), and feed from the bottom of the roll. Don't try to feed through the cutter slider slot, but pass the rolls through the wide slots in the front cover before before clipping it back into place, and that does it. Slide the cutters slowly with a bit of downward pressure to get a clean cut.
I should emphasise that the max roll width is 30cm, so the usual supermarket 35cm film rolls don't work well. We found the best 30cm film rolls are Lakeland, not available on Amazon right now, but bought them from Lakeland direct.
We don't have much vertical room to mount the unit, so being able to leave off the paper roll arms is important.
Would recommend this product.

Have used a Liefheit foil/cling film/ kitchen roll dispenser for over 20 years and have found them to be very effective and long-lasting. Note that the cutters on the two sliders are not the same. One is for foil and the other for cling film so the roll positions are not interchangeable if you want the most effective cutting. The positioning is not the same on all models - on some the foil is the top roll on others it is on the bottom. Refer to the drawings alongside the product description and position the rolls accordingly.

Leifheit Parat 2: AN END TO SHREDDED CLING FILM AND FRAYED NERVES!

I've had my eye on this product for a while and decided to order one due to my increasing frustration with existing cling film and foil dispensers.
Fitting the unit is, I found out, fairly straightforward. The drawings are reasonably clear and, if followed, should not cause problems. Attachment is by four screws into slots that allow for vertical and horizontal adjustment. I had hoped the box would have included a full size fixing template but no such luck, I'm afraid.
The back plate is stamped out with the markings 'alu/tin' and 'transparent to indicate where the respective rolls should be placed. The next step in the installation is to offer up the front cover to the back plate, but before doing so, pull a length of foil and cling film through the 'letter box' openings - remembering to first move the cutters out of the way. Now, push the cover back whilst depressing the two buttons at the side to engage (clicking noise) and, by a small miracle of design, the foil and film now shows through the narrow slots and is ready for use.
My unit is mounted behind the door of a tall storage unit and while I didn't really need the paper towel holder - use of which is optional - I decided I would keep it as a go-to back up. The ends of the arms that hold the towel roll are tapered so that, when correctly adjusted for different width of rolls, there is sufficient friction created to prevent the towel roll unravelling - a useful feature.
All in all, the Leifheit Parat 2 is a well thought out design that should make life a little easier in the kitchen!

This is a great tool for the kitchen. It works well, just be sure to read the instructions for set up, I had read some posts where they claim the foil/cling film bunches up when attempting to cut - I believe they set it up wrong, I did this at first.

It cuts well if you apply moderate pressure where the cutting tool is.

I am happy with this purchase, tidied up the kitchen.

Was quite disappointed with this product, the previous one I’d had for years but was now not cutting the “cling film “ cleanly. I was amazed to find that this one was a much inferior model than my last, same manufacturer, but cheaper. Would not go down that route again. This is very much more cheaper plastic and harder to fit. Don’t penny pinch get the metal version it will last you years!

Bought this item because my hubby can't use cling film or aluminium foil like a normal human and I end up with balls of it in the trash! I installed this, shown him how to use it once and he's a changed man, I find things wrapped up that didn't even need wrapping up, so yes, fantastic buy!
