Did not work with my Toshiba Television even using individual button programming

Product did not include any codes for any Toshiba televisions in the box and the code search feature didn't work for me at all. A very poor start.

Managed to find some codes online, but unfortunately none of them worked fully with about only half of the buttons working on the remote at best.

Tried to individually programme buttons that still weren't working using the "learning feature" which was again inconsistent with me being able to get some buttons to work and some not.

Unfortunately several buttons I could not get to work where crucial (Main Menu buttons, some number buttons, and volume down (despite volume up working)), so for a remote that advertises its self as "with learning feature - Guaranteed to work all TV brands " I can't give it anything other than 1 star.

Spent an hour fiddling trying to get it work just wasted my time. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately you cannot scroll up and down the channels with this; you have to select a number channel (which is fine if you know the number of the channel you need!)
Product worked fine to begin with but stopped working after a few weeks, changed the batteries but still didn’t work. Contacted the seller who offered me a 10% refund if I kept the remote?! How useful is that to me? Have received a refund from Amazon themselves but after several conversations with the seller. So be careful, if you don’t want to risk it don’t buy from here!

Ojo! que no os pase como a mí, es importante LEER LAS INSTRUCCIONES para poder emparejarlo correctamente con el televisor. Es compatible con una larga lista de marcas, en mi caso (Mitsai) no salía en la lista pero aún así me dije "si es universal debe funcionar con casi todas las marcas" y, efectivamente, funciona correctamente. Los botones son muy suaves al tacto y se ve robusto. Si se necesita reemplazar algún otro mando en el futuro es lo que yo llamo una elección win-win.

I chose this because of the clear buttons - guide, menu, info buttons etc. It wasn't much different to the one I lost. Once you realise the correct way to enter the code and which code it is it's easy enough. There are loads of codes for the JVC in the booklet (There are loads of codes depending on the makes) and I couldn't get it to work but that was my own fault, I was doing it wrong. I ended up looking on the 'one for all' support website entering my model and got three codes to try, and the first one worked. They give instructions too. I couldn't see the written instructions near the picture instructions maybe I was too keen to get started, so I had followed the picture and got it wrong but the written instructions are there and make it clearer. You turn on the TV manually, hold down the set up button on the remote until the remote red power switch flashes twice, let go. Enter your code using the number keypad and that's it; if it is the correct one. Test that everything functions and you're set. If not start again using a different code. I'm really pleased it was actually so easy when I was doing it right, and I can use a remote control again.

After asking my question here yesterday, about this control, I talked with one of the One for All team members on messenger. I gave him my tv model numbers as well as the original remote control numbers, and in a matter of seconds, he gave me a code. I immediatly ordered this universal remote yesterday afternoon, it arrived today just after lunch time. So after 2 simple steps, typed the code in and on my very first attempt, it's up and running! Couldn't be any easier and the controls all work perfectly! Great value for money all round! It's been one of the quickest interactions I've ever dealt with. Thanks to Amazon and the One For All customer support team Rocío!

No Alexa but works great!

This is a worthy replacement for a JVC Firestick remote control. However there's a few things to take into account - There will be no access to Alexa within this remote, it took around about five different codes to get it to work, you receive a sheet with every tv company known to man and various codes for different brands.

That being said, once it is set up and working with your TV, it works fine and serves well as a spare or replacement remote control, it is much more sturdy and durable than the original flimsy JVC firestick remote. It's set up slightly different but once you take the time to look at it and see what does what, it's easy enough to use. I was quoted over £65 for an original replacement remote, so was happy to try this one out instead and was happy with the results.

I found the whole thing difficult to understand and use. It did not do what I wanted. I only wanted a remote control that could change the channels on my television set as I had worn my old one out and this remote simply did not deliver on any front. Very disappointed. At first I could not find the remote I had last on the Amazon website so ordered one I thought would do it all - it did not by any stretch of the imagination. After losing my temper with it I eventually did find the number for my last remote and ordered that from the Amazon website - and that works a treat and does exactly what I want. On the whole this remote caused me nothing but grief and upset which is something I can well do without. This remote is not worth one star on any of the above categories!

When the handset wore out on my TV of over 12 years I was doubtful of finding a universal replacement that would be compatible with it; also of being able to set it up should I find one. Not so! This basically simple to use handset does the job perfectly. Not only was it delivered the following day, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow and I only needed to try 5 codes before finding the one which matched my TV. Finally the price - cheap and cheerful and it does a perfect job.

Much in need of a remote after too long fiddling buttons on the back of TV since my old remote (I've been told) moved to a lovely farm in the highlands to gambol freely around the thistles, I decided to buy a universal remote. After fighting tooth and nail to break into the plastic chastity belt that enshrouded my new remote, I thrusted the batteries into it's rear end and followed the instructions and punched in the code given for my TV set. Finally I thought, years of bliss ahead without blushing frustratingly with the TVs buttons around it's back. The result? Nothing. The remote was tuned in successfully and turned off as instructed, but alas Turning off is easy, actually doing anything other than flashing a red light at me any time I press any of it's buttons, not so easy. If you want to buy something that makes you feel inadequate and refuses to listen to your commands this product is wonderful. It even lets you know you want to do something and tells you in no certain terms you can go whistle. 10/10. If you want a remote that actually does anything, this product likely isn't for you. 0/10.

Disappointing. Remote does not work with my Toshiba

I was hopeful having read the majority of positive reviews, but this remote has not worked with our Toshiba Regza TV. I appreciate our telly isn’t one of the new Smart TVs but with a boast of working with all brands and the customer Qs and responses, I was expecting it to work.

None of the codes on the provided list worked - we followed the instructions for the Toshiba codes and also ran through all the memory codes. I even went online to try to find other Toshiba codes and these did not work either.

Very frustrating and I will be trying to get a refund - although expecting that to be a hassle too...
