Took seconds to fix up Even without a tv code.
Put easy batteries in.
Make sure your tv is on.
Press and hold set up button until power button flashes.
Press channel up button till the tv turns off.
Press set up button to store.. Done. Easy.
All functions for the tv work ie menu, epg. Exit.

I was worried that it wouldn't work as the original tv remote's power button no longer worked so I couldn't get the set to actually turn on - it could only sit there on standby... Looked up the Sharp codes, when I tried 2nd one - on came the TV & all the buttons I needed worked straight away, no programming needed by me! (The lesson I learned - keep trying different codes - the first one did do something to the tv - so I thought that was it - but the buttons didn't work the set... Tried 2nd code & everything worked!)

Do not buy this if you have a Baird tv

This remote was so difficult to set up ,I have a Baird tv and I had to scroll through all of the codes to get the right one and when I did come across a code that finally worked, I came to realise that all the buttons on the remote were functioning things they weren’t supposed to. For example the power button when pressed ,would put the volume on the tv up and the volume button turns the tv off The channel button turns the tv off and when wanting to press the channel buttons example number 2 turns the tv to BBC 1 .Every action is jumbled.

When I read some of the negative reviews on this Universal remote I was concerned I've tried them in the past and they haven't been good. This one is a dream I have an old portable that I didn't want to replace but the remote didn't work so for the money this was worth trying. The positive reviews I second!! The instructions are clear and the code list given is very informative, they give you the most successful codes first for your model of TV. This remote does everything the original remote did but better. It is bigger and easier to use that the little one that came with the TV. I got too close to the TV with my mobile phone when taking picture 3 to show the list connections but it finds everything. If you follow the instructions you'll set up in minutes. Always read them carefully make sure you understand what to do and make sure you have the codes to hand save a lot of frustration.

Nice remote, but the number '1' button seems to have programming issues for some brands of TV

This remote replaced another universal remote I had which didn't have the 'Guide' button. I went 5 years without a bloody TV guide and decided enough was enough.

Out of the box, it feels good. A nice remote. Simple design nice finish.

However, BUYER BEWARE - I had the same problem as another customer who's left a review: the number '1' button wouldn't work, even though all of the other buttons are mapped correctly.

Luckily, I had my old universal remote, and used the new ones' 'learning' function to program in that button. So I just barely avoided having to send this back.

Bottom line is - I gather this will work out of the box with no problems for a lot of different branded TV's, however you might run into issues with certain brands. Mine is a Teac - which is probably just a re-badged OEM number.

Didn't work with JVC tv

I tried to tune this to a relatively new JVC tv with integrated DVD player, following the instructions, and eventually got one of the codes to work. More than half the buttons on the remote do not work. I cannot change the channel in any direction but up (using the "3" key because the up and down buttons don't work). The rest of the number pad doesn't work or do anything. The DVD controller buttons don't work. The "OK" and circular buttons around it don't work. So, the only thing I can do with my TV is scroll the channels up, change the volume and turn it on and off. Very disappointed.

The One For All TV Remote works great.

I found the instructions a little confusing at first, but after a couple of reads it was fairly straight forward, works great with my TV. Initial set up took a little time (around 15 minutes) as my model of TV had up to 9 different potential set up codes, so trial and error till I got the right one.

The remote its self feels light with good feed back from buttons, along with an LED light under the red, stand by, button to confirm the press. The finish is predominantly matt with gloss accents around the 'OK' button and the remotes edges.

Sadly the remote does not come with batteries, but for the low price point this is understandable.

Overall I would recommend this product as it does a great job for a reasonable price, with little set up time.

Was really nervous of wasting the money as i have had replacement remotes before that were rubbish. This does the job. It didn't have my tv's code so i tried the first one on the list for the make and viola! Had it a few months now and still fine. Would recommend.

Debo decir que pocas veces pongo 5 estrellas a algún producto que compro ya que para mí 5 estrellas tiene que ser algo top. En este caso me ha sorprendido gratamente ya que ya había comprado otros mandos universales y no estaban nada mal. Este creo que es perfecto por precio sencillez de configuración y material del producto. En mi caso uno original de un TV INVES me costaba 50€ para mis padres.
Lo recomiendo 100x100 para ser un mando universal.

Una cosa importante, si perdemos 5 min. A leer las instrucciones, veréis que existe la opción de buscar el código de las tv por un listado, pero tb la opción de que lo haga por nosotros automáticamente, esto es perfecto para TV con marcas fuera de lo habitual.
