Masker gekocht ivm het zagen, schuren en bewerken van hardhout. Past prima, zit (ook voor meer dan 10 minuten) niet vervelend. Klein minpunt is het haakje waarmee je hem in de nek vastmaakt. Lastig te bedienen en ziet er niet echt lang houdbaar uit. Anders waren het 5 sterren geweest.

First off I can't recommend this mask enough.

First glance I couldn't work out how the filters go on, and realised there is two large holes and one small. They fit very snug due to a rubber seal.

I found it easy on the face. Unless you over tigten the straps like it seams some people have in the comments. And the rubber nose seal is really soft.

I haven't tested it with dust control but. I put this mask on and tested it with a few strong products. First I tested it with lynx and sprayed lynx for a solid 20 seconds around myself. I could not smell any lynx at all.

I then tested the mask with frebreze what is generally strong. I very slightly caught a smell of it fo a couple seconds, and it faded bere in mind I sprayed it for a solid 20 seconds. This was down to spraying myself in the face to see if it would take aerosole, let alone dust. And it got through the outtake valve and stuck to the inside but faded.

I have worn pofessional masks £400 and £1000 masks, and this comes close.

I feel it needs more testing but my only worry is testing the outtake valve doesn't let in thick dust, or aerosoles which I need to test.

I will be testing on Bitumen paint, which can be really deadly, if it survives that. Then I will update here.

UPDATE; if you don't know what bitumens paint is, it is a very toxic, tar like substance that can be fatal if inhaled for to long. As it's a water sealent. This mask saved me from those fumes. I'm talking I didn't get any after problems when painting, with a timber stain or bitumens.

Over all though it's an excellent mask. At a really amazing price! I do really recommend this mask

Value for money with this product is great.. easily a competitor for the more expensive masks.. comfortable to wear, although I only put it on when I need to. I use a very strong glue at work and the smell is so overwhelming I was going home at the end of the shift with headaches so I brought this. With this on, the smell is completely eradicated and no more headaches of an evening at home. As a test I held the pot of glue in front of the mask and took a deep breath in, absolutely no odour came through the filter. I will say though if the mask is not fitted correctly I.e the straps are not tight enough odours and fumes will get in but this is not a product fault it is down to the mask not being properly adjusted.. all in all a great product and I'm very pleased with my purchase, I wash the filters at the end of the week to prolong the life span and so far they have lasted me 4 weeks.

Needed this following a fire at daughters flat. The enclosed instructions are an extremely small font making Reading extremely difficult. After assembling I then found it didn’t fit snugly over the bridge of my nose which thereby it would allow contaminated air to bypass the mask into my lungs. Additionally, the two elasticated bands that should clip together behind my neck just slipped through their nylon clips making wearing it impossible for me, even had the nose issue not existed. Luckily another family member let me borrow their other branded face mask whilst they took five during our recovery work. On returning home having been unable to wear it I tried to obtain a refund but Amazon say i cannot apply for a refund, even though I’ve been an Amazon Prime customer for years! I’m unhappy.

The problem is in the basic design of the two filtration "cassettes". To provide a good deal against toxic gases, each unit is necessarily a very tight fit. Sadly, this tightness is vastly TOO tight. It makes it hard, verging of the impossible, to open and close them. Each time it's a battle.
Paradoxically, the way the cassettes link to the mask itself is too floppy. They tend to fall off.
I spent a lot of time trying to make this product work and failed.
I tried to return the item and was told that returns are not possible (obviously for hygiene reasons.)
This is a very unsatisfactory state of affairs.
Anyone who has the same problem as I have had is wasting his money. My advice is therefore NOT to buy it.
