Wish I had bought it sooner

I have a discoloured nail on my toe for weeks and just thought it would grow out. However, after googling a few nail conditions I realised I had a fungal nail and tried all sorts of things bought over the counter and some home remedies. I held off buying this Scholl one as it was quite expensive but it has been worth it so far, I just wish I had bought it sooner!
I have been using it for almost 2 months and I can literally see the new nail coming through day by day. Its like a perfect line between the yellowy nail and the new fresh nail coming in. At this rate, my whole nail should be good as new in the next 3-4 months if i keep using the treatment.

If you're debating whether or not to buy it, just take the plunge and go for it!

I have been suffering from a minor fungal nail infection for a while, and treatments from the pharmacy or supermarket were expensive so I reached out to online options for a solution.

I've tried a couple of these cheaper options with no great success, and for one reason or another they have never really cured the problem, so I was glad to find something that did work from a well trusted manufacturer.

The Scholl fungal nail treatment involves you having to abrade the infected area on a once weekly basis with a series of small files that are provided as part of the kit, whilst applying the liquid solution over the nail every day via the small brush that is also included.

It takes a number of weeks for the treatment to work - which is a result of the fact that not only do you have to kill the infection, but the infected area of the nail also has to grow out which can take a significant amount of time - but if you follow the instructions as required you will find the kit effective at dealing with the problem as I did.

Recommended.

Have used a few different treatments and none have worked or the nail has come off and it's just returned on the new nail.

This product I am 7 weeks in and there is a clear improvement on my current nail. You file once a week for 5 weeks and apply daily until the 6th week where you apply once a week until the end of the product.

All I have to do now is wait for the rest of the nail to grow out and hopefully it wont come back.

Please check the Symptoms write up of this product as this may not help everyone.

Tenía las dos uñas de los pies críticas, según el producto no podía usarlo. Lo usé y me ha ido fenomenal. Es un proceso largo, llevo unos 6 meses comprando botecitos, pero la realidad es que ya las tengo casi curadas. Es lo mejor que he probado sin duda.

I first tried this product in the Summer of 2018 when I noticed my right toenail was yellow. However, after finishing the bottle I didn't see any results so I thought it would just go away on its own. But by the end of 2019 both of my big toenails were yellow so I decided to get another bottle and start again. I applied it at least once a day, often more. It says that you should reduce applications to once a week after the first four weeks but I just continued to apply most days. I also made sure to go barefoot/wear flip flops whenever I could, to ensure my toes/feet weren't damp. I have just noticed that my toes are basically back to normal and I am delighted! I ended using 2 bottles of the product, but will buy another one to have just in case.

I've had issues with the nails on my right foot for years. I use to go to the gym and I'm pretty sure that's where my problem started. I've tried numerous remedies over the years and they weren't that effective even after months of usage
- plus they would colour my nail so it looked even uglier.

Before giving up I decided to buy a few bottles of the scholl product instead. The applicator is much nicer than the cheaper products and the liquid is clear so no staining. I've been applying it once a day since January. I've added a photo from before I started in January and April to show the change. I still have slight darkening on my big toe so intend to continue doing all my nails until that's gone.

Finally I can wear sandles again without feeling embarrassed. My foot looks pretty normal again!

Bought this for my mum who has a severe infection and tried so many different products but this is by far the best. It cured her infection within weeks, which was not the case with any other product she used before. I even bought one for myself as a prevention, it may be just my impression, but it seems like it gave my nails strenghts and a very nice shine. Plus, it is so much cheaper to buy it here compared to high street prices

I don’t normally leave reviews but I thought this may help other people in a similar situation. I’ve had a discoloured nail for at least 2 years and although many doctor trips and nail samples came back clear, it was obvious to me I had some form of nail infection. I tried lots of other treatments but nothing worked....until this product. During lockdown I’ve been working from home and so I haven’t had to wear shoes, paint my nails to cover the unsightly toes and it’s given me the chance to religiously treat the nails. I think I bought this product in April and the photo attached it from July. My large toe nails on both feet had a diagonal yellow colour going almost to the base of the nail but as you can see on this photo, it’s almost gone now. There’s just a small amount left on the top of the nail as it’s growing out. One bottle of this product has treated two large toe nails for a few months but you will have to buy more emery boards as you don’t get enough of those included. I’m going to continue using until all of the infection has disappeared and keep covering the whole nail as it seems to have done the trick!
Give it a try but stick with it and do it every day!! I’m so much more confident about wearing sandals and I’m ready for summer!

The information plus photographs are very detailed & easy to understand. I used Boots brand before but Scholl explain that it takes 1-4 weeks plus once a week for up to 12 months, whereas Boots give the impression that significant improvement will be seen in two weeks & you can carry on using the product to prevent re-infection if you wish. Scholl let you know that your in for the Long haul plus you get liquid on a brush not a big felt tip as in Boots product (which lasts for approx 4 weeks) So I think Scholl will last for a lot longer & you may not need to buy more product each month. So it's 1-4 weeks application every day then once a week until the nail grows out & clears (approx 9 months). So I will wait & see.
