I recently went to a podiatrist who spotted that I had a fungal infection developing in my nail. He treated the area and then suggested I buy a proprietary product to continue treatment. I bought this on the basis of the name. I then had a follow up session with the podiatrist and he noted that the problem had got worse! He looked at the product and said it lacked the necessary ingredients and felt it was unlikely to help. He gave me another product which is easier to use and progress is now being made. I expected better from Scholl. The product that's proving to be effective is made by Imperial Feet.

Appalling waste of plastic !!!

Not used this yet but what an appalling waste of plastic. It comes with a ' unique one - way file dispenser mechanism' !!!! Basically solid plastic that takes up over two thirds of the box to hold 5 emery boards. What an over engineered waste of plastic, how much of the product cost is this ? Even if it works I won't be purchasing again until they reduce the packaging.

I purchased this item for an elderly relative. When it arrive I noticed that the instructions seemed quite easy to read so passed it on. What I had not noticed was that advice on where the liquid came out of the container and how to access it was absent.
Consequently, when my relative finally managed to open the bottle, most of its contents fell to the floor. I am therefore unable to say anything about the efficaciousness of the product. Other than confirm that my Aunts bedroom carpet does not show any signs of having a single fungal nail!

I would like a replacement or refund. The school arrived on time, well packaged and I pushed up to get my first nail file (which u use once a week, the treatment varnish is daily) but as soon I got the first file out I won't push up to produce another. The file and oil were extremely effective but without continued use they r basically useless and I haven't been able to get a return/replacement or refund at all. Waste of money if they r defective and can't fulfill there purpose. Really disappointed as saw great results in the first week.

Lost my nail

For me, the product did not work. In fact I lost my toenail. I'm growing it back by applying Vicks Vapour rub, a recommendation I found in other reviews, once a day.
I followed the instructions, things seemed to deteriorate when I entered the final phase, forget what they describe it as. Therefore I do not rate this product at all.
Now they don't sell it if it does not work, so I suspect there are different types of fungal infections. It's a shame we don't know what they are and the different limitations because we could target the correct product.

This product didn't work for me. I have quite a bad fungal toe nail infection that I've had for years and I cannot get rid of it for love nor money. I wasn't offered antibiotics from the doctors but some of the side effects put me off such as heart failure or liver failure.

I tried this and it didn't do a thing for my toe nail apart from make it wet. I didn't see any change in the colour or thickness of my nail and it seemed to not have any action on my nail at all. Shame.

Hopefully this product works for someone, but it didn't for me.

I bought this thinking it would get rid of my toenail fungal problem many months later its still not done the full job yet i so dissapointed as i though the scholl name meant quality ive used other product without complaint but this one is very average to say the least i have already bought a different brand to get the job done.

Well as you can tell by the picture - it made it worse, I had mild fungus so I decided to try this to save my nail it was dry brittle and hard, I had a choice to take off whole nail by myself and let it grow but I thought I try this, made my nail worse and chnaged colour. Wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it.

I have found it impossible to eject a single one of the emery boards - a ridiculously bad design.
I would think that the "mechanism" for the emery boards represents a signigicant elemnt of the overall cost of the item but it doesn't work - I have to break the plastic cylinder to gain access to the boards.

This is the most ridiculously over-packaged and over-engineered product I have ever bought. On first use I tried to access the liquid but it wasn't clear how to do it. In the end I managed to unscrew the reservoir whereupon all the liquid poured out onto the floor. Thus wasting all my money.

I have now been to Boots and bought their neat Fungal nail treatment solution, which is simplicity itself to apply.
