They stretch! They hold things down! Is the anything these things can't do?
Well, yes lots! I've tried so hard to train these cords into being a smart pair of slacks but with no success. I also tried to encourage electricity along them but that only resulted in a nasty smell and a failed insurance claim on my shed.
But, if you stretch them over stuff and expect it held down you're onto a winner!!

I don't remember anything about the length of these in the description, but it may have been updated.

Be warned: these are very short bungy lengths. About 0.3m each.

Fortunately, for the use I have for them they are fine as I was going to double-loop what I thought would be longer ones.

Edit: changing rating from 4 stars to 1. Having used these bungees a few times (and only to strap kit to a fishing trolley) I have to say I'm now very disappointed by them. What initially seemed like a quality product was misleading... The plastic casings on all the cords I've used more than a couple of times have either cracked and broken completely or split apart and fallen off during use (since they are 2-piece and only glued.) What you are left with afterwards is a bungee with double ended hooks that are not as useful as the ordinary coiled hook style ones.

Avoid at all costs!

I’ve bought these before so immediately came back to the same brand to buy more as I was so satisfied with my initial purchase of Bungee Cords from Silverline, though they were a smaller size.

Arriving well packaged, my initial inspection of each bungee cord brought up no issues. They are all very well made and appeared as strong as they claimed to be. The elastic cord is strong and stretches well and is a decent 8mm thick. I am also totally happy with the strength and build quality of the steel hooks.

Although you can use these with a roof rack, that’s not what I purchased them for. I use them to erect an emergency tent when out in the wilds. They work superbly and haven’t let me down as yet even when suffering strong winds.

Useful for lots of things, not just wild overnight stays.

Highly Recommended!

I bought this item back in 2013 and was very pleased with the product. I needed some more of the same, so I chose the "buy again" option. I realise that manufacturing processes change, and I wasn't expecting the item to be exactly the same seven years later, but the quality of these cords is nowhere near the quality of my first purchase.

The restoring pull (the force trying to pull the cord back to its original length) is very weak compared to the earlier cord, and it feels much the same (weak) pull-back regardless of how much the cord is stretched, until it reaches the end of its stretch. It's just feels a feeble thing compared to the earlier version.
