I had the first generation of this cup but it didn’t last more than a month as the lid mechanism just fell apart and wasn’t dishwasher friendly. Gutted and binned.
However a bit of a redesign and the body of this model is constructed to a standard that you would expect from Stanley. The strength of the body is excellent and retains heat for 12 hours so great if you want to make a brew at last light, chuck it in a bergen and you’ve got a hot drink when you come back from a night walk.
The lid on this model is perfect. It’s easy to clean, take apart and wash and very robust. A complete near perfect regeneration of the first lid so totally recommend it.
I’ve ragged it about a lot and found it to be 100% leakproof for me, so it gets used on a daily basis.
It’s dishwasher safe, even when you’ve taken the drinking mechanism apart and dries without the annoyance of dishwasher water getting trapped so a massive well done there to the designers.
If I were to buy another one, which may be a long time due to its construction, I’d definitely without any other research go to this cup.
Overall, this is SIMPLY THE BEST leakproof mug I’ve ever used and I’ve gone through a lot over the years.
I think the only improvement you could make is larger model, different paintwork and maybe a cover/case.
So in my opinion, this is a must buy as it beats the rest of the market due to its design, which is near perfection.
