Fist off, this is a very compact tape measure that works great. It measures approx 56mm wide x 52mm high (not including the metal lip on the tape) x 22mm deep, and it packs a whole 3m of tape, which is a lot in a small size.
It's bright orange, I'd say safety orange, similar to a traffic cone or a hi-viz overall. If you like bright colours you'll love this. The tape is the standard yellow, with easy to read black numbers, and every 10cm the number is red. So pretty standard for a tape measure. However, it's all in metric measurements ie centimetres, you won't find any imperial measurements on here ie inches. Not a problem for me since I use metric, and obviously it's to be expected seeing as it's called the "Eurolock".
The lock works really well, it grips the tape in a very standard way and it works smoothly. The tape comes out pretty well, although it does jerk every now and then. One big thing to note though, is that there is no "auto-stop" with the tape, and it's pretty easy to pull it all the way out, as you can see in the last photo. However, I rarely measure anything that's the full length of this tape, so I'm sure I'll remember to be careful with it.
Overall it's a great little tape measure, it's very compact, and so bright it'll be hard to lose!
