Great product, easy to apply

I'm sure there are better ceramic coatings than this if you want cough up some serious money. But value for money is 5 stars, even if I have to apply it every couple of months. Barely used any to cover an Peugeot 508.

Went on very easy as I followed the instructions. Washed the car, then claybarred it to get rid of contaminants, then washed it again to get rid of claybar residue, then dried it, then applied this. I found it easier to put a couple of squirts onto the microfibre cloth rather than straight onto the body work, then just rub it in. Do a panel at a time (or half on the bonnet and roof), and buff it off with a dry cloth. Left no streaks, and was very slippy to the touch. The whole process of washing twice, claybarring , and applying took 4 hours.

First wash after it was applied (using the Turtle Wax 53340 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash & Wax Car Shampoo), bird droppings and dead insects came off with out the need to use an extra remover, stuff just doesn't stick to it.

Like I said at the beginning, at the price, and how long it took to apply I don't really care if it only last a couple of months. I won't need to claybar everytime to re-apply it. The car looks ace, and rain just beads off it like brand new again.

Do Not Waste Your Money

This is the worst car product I have ever purchased. I did my partners car and it was very streaky, took ages to remove, admittedly this was on a sunny day so I reserved judgement. I have just spent hours applying it to my car on a cloudy cool day and it was still streaky. I tried using a damp cloth to remove the streaks, as suggested and this didn't help at all. I ended up using a trusted product to go over the car. Prior to using this turtle wax ceramic spray I used a clay bar on both vehicles. It is easy on but very difficult to get off.
My advice, save your money and choose something different.

First review blocked - not sure why.
This spray is made for the European market - Instructions for use are in four different European languages - none of which are English. There is a date on the bottle - assume it is a best before date - if this is the case, then this product is past its best before date.
Have tried it on my car - doesn't appear to have had any beneficial impact.
Will update this review to check if there is any longer term effect of using this product.
Personal opinion would be to avoid this seller unless clarification on this product is made.

A little goes a long way

After watching Project Farms video on ceramic coatings, I jumped at buying this.

Ensure the car is clean, which means at the very least traffic film and probably clayed. You're only going to protect crap paint but it's worth it for the ease of use. Make sure the car is dry.

I used 2 sprays per panel, with an extra on a microfibre cloth. Goes on easy and you can see it in the light to check your coverage. Buff with a clean microfibre towel. Apply 2 coats. Takes about 30 mins in total if you care about your paint.

The stuff also smells really nice. So there's a bonus.

The beading on the car is close to that of a good wax, with infinitely less effort.

Worth the 18 quid, will be good for 2-3 years at the rate you use it.

Left a mess on paint not fit for purpose

Had this product delivered today and my car was ready clean and dried for its arrival. Tried it on my bonnet first quick spread wipe off left a right mess on my bonnet all streaky and dull tried again but just little bits at a time then wiped off immediately! 🤷🏻‍♂️Still made a mess, had to go over it with maguires hybrid ceramic quick detailer to get the stuff off! Very disappointed was looking forward to this product for a while and when it was on offer thought I’d take the plunge! I’ll be staying clear of turtle wax products in the future and throwing this rubbish in the bottom of my cupboard in the garage and staying with quality products like autoglym and maguires that work as their supposed too 😡

I watched several comparison videos on YouTube before deciding to try this on our new car.

The instructions say to apply to dry paintwork and that it can be used in direct sunlight.

Having tried that, the results were terrible! Streaks all over the place.

A week later, I tried again on wet paintwork in the shade with a damp microfibre cloth and the car is now beautifully shiny.

This stuff appears to do a very good job, if you know how to apply it correctly.

Time will tell how long it lasts and what protection it affords.

Car detailing enthusiast who has tried many products. This one I must say is very disappointing. Now I am sure if you have a white car, it will be fine but any dark colour, forget it. It streaks like crazy. Even if you use the smallest spray for a huge area, with a clean MF you just can't avoid them. Yest it improves if tou use a damp cloth but who wants to spend hours using that method. I wouldn't recommend this product. Meguirs Hybrid ceramic is much easier to apply. I am throwing this away as just can't believe how bad it is. That's said if tou can be bothered to spend 30 mins per panel, it does bead well. Lol

I’m a sucker for the latest wax and car detailing kit and after watching a video about this spray I thought it was worth a go. It’s important to decontaminate the paintwork beforehand, remove existing waxes etc. Otherwise you’re just spraying this product on top of other coatings. The product went on easily and you really only need to use a couple of sprays per panel to get a good coverage. It gave a good shine and I reapplied a second coat after the recommended 24 hours. It beads water very efficiently and after well over a month and several hand washes it still seems to be working well. It has also had the added benefit of making the car easier to clean as dirt doesn’t seem to stick as much to the paintwork.

This product was very easy to apply, I used an Meguiars applicator pad to do so and then simply buffed off with a microfibre. I used a second one to get all residue off and shine it up a bit. Definitely gave off some good gloss and beading was quite impressive. You really don’t need to apply much otherwise you’ll get streaking, I applied one spray to the pad and one to the bonnet while moving the nozzle horizontally across it. Hopefully it should last a while as it claims to be very chemically resistant to washing etc. Can be used on wheels and glass as a bonus. And even on exterior plastics; I was applying it to car and got a little overspray on the trim, I tried to buff it off but instead it completely revived it and made it back to a deep black again. A month later and that spot is still black and unfaded unlike the other bits of trim. Amazing stuff for that!

This was my first experience of using this type of product and I love it. Though my first attempt on a black bonnet was a lesson in how to polish of smears.
My second attempt was a lot more satisfying and really very easy.
I cut a large square from an old bed sheet and then sprayed the product onto this before wiping out on to my car panels. Hey presto, very little smearing.
Then a light polish with a microfiber clothe.
24 hours later I gave it another coat.
Very happy indeed.
