I love it. It’s so perfect. I dislike sugar because of its sweetness, so the fact this tastes less sweet is perfect. It’s just a little annoying with baking — the measure is off sugar wise. You have to experiment a bit with how much to use.

I do find it too expensive per package.

Non eccepisco sulla qualità del prodotto. Sicuramente la marca è la migliore della rete ed il tipo di dolcificante è il migliore rispetto a tutti gli altri e magari non fa male, ma io, che uso per la prima volta un dolcificante (essendo a rischio diabete), non ce la faccio. Secondo me è ben lungi da avere il sapore dello zucchero. Usando un cucchiaino nel caffè è come se la bevanda non fosse più amara ma allo stesso tempo non è dolce. Dopo una settimana sono tornato alla bustina di zucchero di canne (morirò prima, ma il caffè è sacro).

I bought this to make a keto peanut butter cookie recipe. It's great that you can use it in baking and it combines together with other ingredients just the same way as sugar does. Also in terms of the end result, it has no adverse effect on the appearance or texture. Basically you can just use it as a sugar substitute in recipes.
When I tasted the cookies, they were just as sweet as the ones made with actual sugar. However there was a clear difference that for me puts me off using this sweetener again. For me there was what I can only describe as an icy cold tongue sensation. It was quite off putting to bite into a warm cookie straight from the oven, only for it to seem to become ice-cold as you chew into it! Maybe this would be desirable for certain applications, but I found it kind of unpleasant.
Furthermore, after just eating one cookie, I felt slightly nauseous and loss of appetite. Maybe this doesn't affect most people but this is my personal experience. I suppose this could be useful to suppress cravings if you are trying to reduce calorie intake.

A good sweetener BUT...

This is the best tasting sweetener I've used and to me it tastes exactly the same as sugar does in my chicory drink BUT it has a very strong LAXATIVE effect as I found out the hard way. I've only had this in three drinks today and that was enough to cause the laxative effect that the product page warns about. It does say on the product page that excessive consumption would lead to a laxative effect but I don't think three drinks with three teaspoons of this in counts as excessive consumption. From now on I'm going to try only having this once a day to see if my system is ok with that as I can't return the product because I've already opened and used some of it but I will have to wait a few days for this to be fully flushed out of my system before I have it again. I'm lucky I didn't have to go anywhere today because I really did have to run for the toilet without any warning. I was going to give this product a five star review but because of how strong the laxative effect is I can't give it more than three stars. I would only recommend this product if you are only going to use it in very small amounts. I wouldn't recommend using this in baking because if you were going to bake something like cookies for example it would be hard to figure out how many of them you could eat without getting the laxative effect.
Update I have found that my system can cope with this without getting the laxative effect if I only have this once a day. If I have it twice a day it causes stomach discomfort and if I have it more than twice a day it sends me running for the toilet.

I bought this because it seemed the popular choice of sweetener on the Pinch of Nom Facebook page. I tried it in one recipe (where it is sprinkled on pastry together with cinnamon).

My family loved it and ate all the mini pastries they wanted. I found that, after eating a couple, I was left with the most awful after-taste in my mouth and I felt quite sick. Brushing my teeth and gargling with Listerine helped somewhat but the chemical flavour lingered for an hour or so.

Weird cooling aftertaste

I wanted to make a cake and needed a sugar free alternative so I bought this product and used it 1:1 in place of sugar. The cake came out great and looked like a normal cake. On the other hand, this sugar alternative has a weird cooling effect which ruined and overpowered the flavour of my cake. I’ve tasted many sweeteners/sugar replacements and this one probably has the strongest aftertaste. For me, unfortunately, it also had a laxative effect. I probably won’t use this again or consider repurchasing it.

I bought this as a potential alternative for aspartame based sweetener and was also interested in the fact it was zero calories and did not affect blood sugar levels.

However, I have found the product isn't anywhere near as sweet as other sugar substitutes so more is needed which will result in more expense in the long run. Also, I don't feel it is good for use in cold dishes. For breakfast, I tend to have porridge oats mixed with yogurt and sweetener - when I used Erythritol, it didn't dissolve properly so I was left with an unpleasant gritty texture to my meal. It dissolves properly in my tea so I have concluded it is better for hot dishes or for baking.

I can't see me buying this again in a hurry. A shame because it sounded so promising. Perhaps if the product could be ground down finer as to dissolve more easily, I could be persuaded.

3 out of 5 overall from me.

I usually use truvia as a sweetener which is 100% pure stevia leaf. I thought I would try Erithrytol because it was still a pure product but quite a bit cheaper. Unfortunately you need too much of it to sweeten things, for example I have 1 level tsp of truvia in a coffee but I needed 4 heaped tsp of Erithrytol, also it leaves a rather unpleasant taste in you mouth. Some people may like Erithrytol and as I said it is a pure product but personally I'm not keen

Not tried sweeteners for years, but decided to give this a try. The actual flavour isn't bad, no bitter aftertaste like some have. It is alleged to be 70% as sweet as sugar. I think it's less than that - 50% or less. So you need to use more. The crystals are smaller than sugar, so if you use a lot it can have a sightly gritty texture - not a massive issue though.
Overall it's better than other sweeteners I have tried.

I have to be honest I haven't tried this with baking yet... However, I've used it in my tea and coffee and I can't taste anything?? Then i added some more because it does state on the packaging that it's not as sweet as sugar and again I can't taste anything. My dad went to try some just out of curiosity and even he said he couldn't taste anything?? It was just like having no sugar in his tea... plus, for me I seem to get a bitter aftertaste in my mouth...I'm going to try it in some baking before I think of disposing of it as it's not cheap...
