Fits a Hayter Spirit 41

I purchased a set of these to replace the rear wheels on my Hayter Spriit 41. The original wheels had fallen apart again and again. I’d done several things to repair them, but eventually the entire centre of one completely wore away. They seem designed to fail. Original replacement wheels were more than £20 each. I had no intent of spending over £40 for something that has already broken repeatedly. The strain of constantly turning the mower to get around the many nooks in our garden is more than the metal bushing system in the original wheels can handle.

The Oregon 175mm wheels with the supplied black coloured bushings fit perfectly. With the white hub cap installed one of the wheels wouldn’t turn very well, so I just left that hub cap off as it is only cosmetic. I can’t vouch for how long these wheels will last, but the plastic bushing system seems to be better than the metal one in the original wheels. If nothing else, these wheels are half the price of the OEM replacement wheels for this mower.

Summary: These wheels fit, they function and they cost half the price!

Perfect Solution. I have an Outback BBQ which has two plastic wheels at one end to enable it to be shifted around. The hubs on these wheels quickly break under the load and are expensive to replace and difficult to source. The Oregon Universal Wheel, which is the correct diameter and width, comes with 4 hub centers to accommodate the most popular axle sizes. I can't believe my good fortune in finding a wheel that is the same dimensions and fits the BBQ axle, and is so reasonably priced. And I'm sure they'll easily outlast the flimsy Outback wheels.

I bought this wheel to replace a broken 200mm diameter wheel from a Florabest garden chipper with a 12mm diameter axle. 175mm diameter (actually measured 181 diameter) was the closest size available to the original wheel size. With the supplied 12.2mm diameter bushes the fit was perfect. The width of the wheel at the centre at 40mm was identical to the original wheel enabling me to refit the original split pin retainer. To level up the chipper I have ordered a second wheel to replace the other original one. the new wheel appears to be very durable and together with the various bushes should be suitable for most applications. Please note that there is no method of retaining this wheel so take care that the width of the wheel that you are replacing measured at the centre of the wheel is 40mm or less.

Other reviews mentioned these wheels would for the Outback Spectrum 3 Burner bbq and they were right - it's clearly a common fault but the old rubbish wheels broke within a year.
These new wheels are great! They're properly made and feel like they'll last a long time, unlike the previous wheels.

It's not a totally straight swap, the axle is a little long so I used some spare bushes to act as a bit of a spacer which worked perfectly fine.
You'll also need the metal nuts from the axle that were securing the previous wheels in order to fix these on securely and I had managed to lose one but fortunately I found spares in our garage so it was an easy fix.

The flame tamers had rusted to dust as well so I replaced those at the same time and now the bbq looks almost new!

If you have this model of bbq and your wheels broke, get these :)

I purchased these for an Outback Spectrum 3 Burner BBQ. Original wheels no longer available.
One of the original wheels had busted so took a chance and bought these to replace both.
Could only use one as the wheels are quite wide, tried fitting both but axle was too small, there also bigger as well. So ended up using one and used the good original as well. The adaptors are handy. I used the red ones as this fitted my axle size.
Works fine with no problem. Just happy I can move it around again without dragging it across the grass and paving slabs.
Delivery was great and overall delighted and a cheaper option than those BBQ websites who charge more for postage than the actual cost of one wheel.

Doesn't fit Mountfield Lawnmower with modification

Nice wheel, and a very fair price. Comes with a range of bushes for different axles, but the one that fits the Mountfield axle is too deep, so there isn't enough space to get the nut on. Need to cut the bush(es) down to be able to fit the nut on the end of the axle thread.

They'll probably fit but they might not spin amazingly well because they have no bearings or bushes to prevent the bolt that holds them on from pressing on them and causing friction. Still, £100 cheaper than getting reactant Honda ones!

A very well made and sturdy wheel, but despite checking several times that it was the right dimensions for our BBQ, it really wasn’t easy to fit and there were no instructions... we got there eventually by bashing it with a hammer!

The fact that it comes with a range of bushings (to fit various spindle sizes) is excellent.

The only adverse feature is that the cover plate (white) is virtually flat so if your spindle is slightly too long then the cover can't clip onto the wheel.
