Werkbank die eenvoudig is in te klappen, goed mee te werken doordat er veel opties zijn om klemmen te bevestigen. Staat niet heel stabiel maar valt niet om. Prima werkhoogte. Neemt ingeklapt niet veel ruimte in. Handgreep om te dragen is stevig en komt goed van pas.
Maar... de bezorging is een probleem. Niet de snelheid en de netheid en super attentheid van de bezorgers maar de verpakking: te dun. Het eerste exemplaar kwam gebroken aan. Zie foto. Dus retour. Het tweede exemplaar: twee flinke beschadigingen. Geen zin om weer in te pakken, naar een verkooppunt te sjouwen en daar af te leveren, een derde opgestuurd te krijgen die vermoedelijk ook beschadigd is.

Ok. Brought this June 2018 my husband and father in-law was fitting my kitchen when my husband sat on the bench to hold it still whilst my farther in-law was sawing a plinth! As you can see it broke and no my husband does not weigh 455 kilos he weighs 90 something kilos which is well below the 455 stated and apparently the warranty does not cover sitting on. This is the most useless work mate I've ever come across and you will better off paying 20 something pounds for the old fashioned wooden top ones. The company I brought this off is refusing to refund or replace(as I thought they would). They say Good Morning unfortunately this product is not made to be sat on it is a work bench.the warranty would not cover this. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. We was using this to fit my new kitchen good job my husband did not get hurt and it didn't damage my new kitchen when it broke. There is nothing on this work bench that says do not sit on, it does say do not stand on. Total waste of money. "Toolstop_Ltd has closed your return request. The reason for the closure of your request is: Buyer has not taken reasonable care". We brought this work mate for doing motorbike engines and stuff like that. If this had broke when it had an motorbike engine on it they still would have said buyer not taken reasonable care because your not covered if the weight is not distributed 100:% evenly so the warranty is in fact useless. I've sat on the cheap work mates to steady them on many of occasion and not one as broken because of this.

I found this product to but very useful strong and sturdy when fully open and set up.......BUT I’ve found that over the couple of months I’ve had it the corners have started to spilt and the blocks that hold the hinges in place as you open it have started to pop out every so often. For the money I paid and job I do which means taking it in and out of a van a lot I thought it would last a very long time but I don’t think it will if what I have seen is anything to go by. So operational it is really good but durability I would have to question that.

The positives:

1) Good size, weight and portability.
2) Rapid fold/unfold of legs.
3) Compact storage.

The not-so-good:

1) Not very stable for sawing. The existing cross-bracing of the legs is high off the floor level. The bench would benefit from some cross-bracing much closer to floor level so that there is the option to place your foot onto this to aid stability whilst sawing. This is quite a large issue for me.
2) Clamps cannot be left in-place for storage due to folding leg storage locations. Medium and large clamps won't fit through the slots unless they are partially dismantled. Not a huge issue but still added hassle. Product description would benefit from some references to smaller clamps that would fit through the slots without dismantling since clamp manufacturers don't seem to publish the necessary size specification to enable appropriate selection.

I am somewhat disappointed with this bench having spent quite a long time doing my research. I'm kicking myself for not thinking about the location of the cross-bracing and the ability to use my foot to stabilise (which I used to do with my old WorkMate). My wife pointed out that it would make a great camping table (I think she's right) - so maybe I have an excuse to buy an alternative workbench, however I shall persevere longer with this one and update this review as necessary.

Meine Werkstatt war noch nicht fertig und es standen immer wieder Projekte an. Meine kurz zuvor gekaufte Workmate nervte immer mehr, warum kann man in meiner Rezension nachlesen. Nach einiger Recherche und Vergleichen mit ähnlichen Werkbänken, habe ich mir diesen Arbeitstisch geholt. Ich bezeichne es deshalb Arbeittisch, weil für mich eine Werkbank eine Vorder- und eine Rückseite sowie häufig eine Spannvorichtung hat. Hier kann man aber von allen Seiten relativ gleichgut am Werkstück abeiten.

Ein weiterer nicht gerade unwichtiger Grund für meine gute Bewertung ist das Auf- und Abbauen mit einer Hand. Ich nutze den Tisch auch für Arbeiten rund ums Haus. Häufig hat man den Tisch in einer, Material oder Werkzeug in der anderen Hand und außer dem Boden keine Abstellmöglichkeit. Kein Problem mit dem FatMax.

Der eigentlich während der Arbeit nutzlos scheinende Bügel zum Ein- und Ausklappen der Beine eignet sich hervorragen zum Aufhängen von Schnellspannzwingen. Die kleine Mulde sorgt dafür, dass der Bohrer nicht wegrollt und ist ein sicherer Fundort für den Bleistift. Mit den zahlreichen 20mm-Bohrungen und den kreuzförmig angeortneten Langlöchern hat man unzählige Möglichkeiten, das Werkstück auf dem Tisch zu fixieren.

Alles in allem ein einfaches aber durchdachtes System, welches vielseitig einsetzbar, stabil und mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit sehr langlebig ist. Von mir gibt eine klare Kaufempfehlung, vor allem für Fußboden-Heimwerker oder jene, die ihre Stühle oder den Stubentisch zum Ablängen von Leisten und Brettern nutzen. Auch wenn ihr das bei einigen DIY-Youtubern seht, ihr müsst es nicht nachmachen. Dieser Abeitstisch passt zusammengeklappt in eine 15cm-Nische und ist unter einer Minute einsatzbereit. Und er wackelt wahrscheinlich weniger, als o.g. Möbel.

As a tradesman this is an ideal bit of kit. To be able to set up a works bench fast and easily with no fuss makes the day go that little bit smoother.
Only been using it a couple of weeks but build quality seems good. A strong and sturdy item while still light and easy to move around with its ingenious carry handle that also operates the legs coming out and retracting back. Another great feature is its ability to slot grips through the wholes for clamping down wood for cutting (or whatever else needs cutting). It's little features like this that are a real help.

Some of the negative reviews about this have to be taken with a pinch of salt, like the person who said it broke when they sat on it! Despite whatever load it says it can take, it clearly is not designed to be sat on and a bit of common sense would tell you this. Even if it says it can take weight X, that's spread over the whole table, not just concentrated on one corner where your sat! Com'on.

This table is for setting up Mitre Saws, cutting sheet wood, using track saws, it's a works bench, not a chair!

Anyway, if you're in the trade, or a serious DIY'er who knows how to respect their kit and use it for sensible operations, then I'd highly recommend this for doing jobs on the go.

Ein super Arbeitstisch, aber..

Von Beginn an war ich von dieser Werkbank absolut überzeugt.
Zusammengeklappt ist er sehr leicht und lässt sich auf Grund der kompakten Bauweise optimal in Fahrzeug oder der Werkstatt verstauen.
Ein wirklich großer Wermutstropfen ist jedoch die Verarbeitung.
Die Tischplatte selbst ist leider alles andere als plan. Hier muss bei diversen Arbeiten mit dünneren Materialien leider eine Konterlattung untergelegt werden. Das stellt man sich bei diesem Preis doch eigentlich anders vor. Man bedenke, dass es sich hierbei um eine Kunststoffgußplatte mit Wabenstruktur zur Stabilisierung handelt. Hier müssen die Herstellungsprozesse definitiv gewaltig überarbeitet werden. Auch die 20mm Öffnungen müssen nach dem ersten Aufstellen anfangs teilweise mit dem Cutter freigeschnitten werden.
Abgesehen hiervon liebe ich es eine mobile Werkbank binnen 10 Sekunden komplett aufzustellen und loslegen können.
Auch über die Standfestigkeit kann ich keine negative Silbe verlieren.
Und liebe Kritiker: Ihr bestellt eine zusammenklappbare, leichte und kompakte Werkbank. Dass eine solche natürlich nicht den massivsten Belastungen trotzen kann (und dabei auch mal wackelt) muss wohl klar sein. Diese führt man bekanntlich auf der schweren Holzwerkbank im Keller oder der Werkstatt aus!

Don't be put off by the bad reviews as this is a brilliantly designed product that is easy to store under a bed or you could wall-mount easily using the dog holes. There are two carrying handles (short edge or long edge) although you wouldn't want to take it too far as it is not light, but I prefer sturdiness over lightness. Very good investment, especially for a professional tradesperson and mine doubles as a home office desk. The USP is its super quick leg opening/closing mechanism without sacrificing superb load bearing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Like some of the other reviews, mine came with a large piece of plastic broken on the side. I could have sent it back but the hassle want' worth it. Had I picked this up in a shop I would have swapped it for an undamaged one, the shop would probably have to sell it cheaper as "damaged stock". Ideally if there was an option to obtain a partial refund I would have gone for that. That said, the table itself is quite sturdy and will probably end up being drilled into and cut on the first use, so not too worried about it being slightly damaged.

Folds up neatly and easily - Check. Is nice and stable when erected and able to easily bear the weight advertised - Check. Lightweight, with lots of different points to provide clamps and clamping.
Verdict, delighted.
As a DIYer for most things in the house and garden, I found trying to saw through something was getting harder due to an aching back, so this is ideal as I can saw through wood easily, even sand the wood too stood comfortably.
