Missing tarp, uneven eyelets issue.

This 3m x 4m tarpaulin arrived 30 minutes ago. On checking The measurements it appeared incorrect to the advertised item. It was 4 m long but only 2.85 m wide. A whole 150mm or 15 cm missing. That’s a total of 6000sq centimetres of tarp missing. This is a lot of material in such a small item. The eyelets are not evenly spaced out. I presume they are supposed to be 50 cm apart but they are all out by 2-4 cm’s. The eyelets at the opposite ends of both the long side and the short side do not match up.
I believe this to be poorly made given these measurements and would like to get at least refunded the missing material, doubtful though as this review is only useful to potential customers. One of the Metal eyelets has not been inserted properly and misses half the hole. Not sure whether these are all machine manufactured or are done by a person but this is just lack of care. The thickness of the material is thicker than I have ever bought as thinner ones deteriorate very quickly by the wind. I use the the tarpaulins to stretch across a rotary washing line in the rain and have set up a quick construction method for it to be put in place. I can work around the eyelets issue but the missing tarp really ‘gets my goat’. I will be contacting the manufacturer to report this and see how their customer complaint system goes, then will update this review. Look at the photos and video.

Arrived quickly but package abandoned on doorstep. Opened up and unrolled, hole in it from brand new. Cant return as needed it ASAP, thats why I ordered it next day prime. Apart from that...
Not sure if I'd call it heavy duty, just not cheapo one like from b n q. Strength wise, we'll see if it holds up to my expectations, hopefully the brand new hole won't effect my usage. If it tears and falls to bits this summer, I'll send the whole thing back as then its not fit for purpose.

If you are of an age to know what real tarpaulin is then this isn't it. My purchase, bought to cover bagged wooden logs, started losing its waterproof coating after 2 years exposing a plastic matting which is now disintegrating. Rather than tarpaulin being reusable over generations this, like potato grow bags, has a longevity that can be counted in seasons. If you are happy with that then the price is a fair one.

It's a slightly thinner material than what I expected and I know from experience that eventually, the green colour will fade. After a few months of blustery winter winds causing the material to flex up and down, small cracks will and do appear causing the rain to penetrate.
Still, the price is right and if customers require stronger and better quality material, Amazon has Tarpaulins in plenty to suit all pockets!

This product isn't amazing quality, but what do you expect for the price. There is another product listed in the £40's that I'm sure is amazing, but for my purposes, I couldn't justify it, so this will do. It's about as 'Heavy Duty' as every other cheaply made product on Amazon - in that it isn't - but for domestic use it should be fine if you're not moving it about often.

Good material, grommets fall apart.

Title says it all really, the material is decent and 100% waterproof (after a few months outdoors) but straight out of the bag half the grommets lost one of the sides to the fitting. Not a big deal for me as they are not under tension in my use but would have had to send back if that was going to something I had needed.

This seems a really good weather proof tarpaulin made from good quality material. Unfortunately when I have come to use it noticed that five of the eyelets have not been punched concentrict which has resulted in one edge of the metal eyelet being less than !mm in thiickness. I have accepted this as I dont think it will affect how I'm using the sheeting but if this was constantly in heavy use could possibly fail.

Overall the trap is of good quality the thing that let's it down is poor cutting of the eyelets and very poor quality in installation of the eyelets. I even had two quashed together there is obviously no quality control at this stage of production. It was the same on both tarps that I bought.

Great as a bike cover

So far so good. We've had this for 2 months as an outdoor bike cover and it's going strong. It was bought to replace one that started ripping within a week!

Update Aug 19: Not sure how long these things are supposed to last, but after about 9 months small tears appeared where it looks like the sun had affected it and it started turning white. I patched it, but after 18 months is full of tears and no good.
