I Give It 3 Stars, My Son Gives It A Million Stars!

We've had this since Feb 2020 and is used most school days and is still in good condition. However the reason I say most school days is because its a bit small. You will not get an A4 book in this. Maybe one small book and at a push a lunch bag. It has no lining inside and no side bottle holders neither.

Ideal for 3,4,5 year olds and that's it. When you have to take books, lunch bag, bottle water , pencil case then this isn't practical.

Of course its the best thing since sliced bread if you asked my son, he would give it a million stars!!!!!!!!

I think this bag is great and my son adores it so much we have to take it and hand it by his cot every night. It's well made and sturdy. Looks amazing. Alot of people.comment what a cool bag it is as it's not the typical shape back pack. My son uses his for pre school with the usual nappies and spare clothes. Lots of space but not too big for an average size toddler. Straps adjust easily and it's a simple strait forward bag. My son has sat on it a few times denting the car shape inwards, it always just pops strait back to its shape with a little push. It's holding it's own as my son has stood on it and sat on it and it always just pops back into place with no creasing. There are no inner pockets and it isn't lined, but the material part is plastic like on the inside so seems to have some waterproofing. It's perfectly adequate for a child's bag. Not sure how the car shaped bag would hold up if it got wet as we havent had anything wet in the bag or any leakage. Having seen and used the bag for some mo the now, I'd buy another one again if I need a replacement. For the money, I personally think it's brilliant.

The backpack is a great size for nursery. It is a sturdy shell that has kept it shape after being sat on. It is deep, holds loads of spare clothing and a wet suit and all the other nursery essentials.

Draw back is it opens wide and only has a zip from left to right so all the contents are at risk of tipping out. We resolved this by adding a 2nd zip. It was fiddley and annoying but worth it as our son adores this bag.

This is a great looking little bag for my son who is Cars mad. The only down side to this bag is that there is only one zip and it starts very low down at the sides so when you open the bag it opens very widely which is a bit annoying as things can fall out depending on what you’ve got it filled with. It would have been ideal to have a double zip that you can just open a little from the top of that makes sense but my son loves this as it’s a lovely looking little bag. Great for putting some cars in and some pens and a book to go to Nanny’s for the day. You wouldn’t get loads in here but it’s the perfect size for what we need it for. It’s a shame they don’t also do it a big bigger so he could use it to go to a friends house to put a few clothes in.

The bag is good for the price. The 3D effect McQueen looks great and my son loves it. It could have been improved by having 2 zips rather than 1, allowing you to open the bag from the top. It only has 1, starting near the bottom of the bag so when you open it things can fall out.

My 3yr old was ecstatic with this! The car roof is hard enough that it hasn’t been flattened and the bag is plenty big enough, shame it doesn’t have a separate pocket on the side for a bottle though. Worth every penny for any Lightning McQueen fan, I would definitely recommend.

All the reviews mentioning limited luggage space are correct. The novelty wears off when you realise its only one compartment and each time your child opens the bag 🎒 to reach for one thing, every other thing spills out. Waste of money, worth about half the price.

Got this for my 4 year olds birthday for preschool. Good size without being massive on him and holds just enough. The front is shaped and sturdy so he always looks like his favourite cartoon car 😀

Awful chemical smell that is hard to get out.

Awful chemical smell and cannot be washed. I have it hanging outside for 2 weeks and still the smell is there (albeit less).
Hope it goes by the time school starts otherwise I will have to buy another backpack.

Shame as other than the smell it is a nice bag.
