Neem .m 1 tint lichter dan je huid, anders vlekkerig.

I love this product but I wish that the sellers would upload better photos of the different shades. This is a VERY light shade and it's the reason for my three star rating. I've uploaded a photo which was taken by my window and on a sunny clear day which I hope will be of help to potential buyers.
UPDATE: I can't buy from Maybelline anymore unfortunately because I have found out that they are still testing their products on animals!!

Good for cool climates only!

This is a very good colour match for cool-toned pale skin and the application is easy and quick. However the texture isn't as smooth as comparable drug store concealers (Collection, Seventeen, L'Oréal True Match) and I've found it tends to "pill" in warm weather, leaving a patchy finish after a few hours of wear. Needs a good primer underneath to look good all day.

Good concealer, not so good company.

I bought this because it was super duper cheap on Black Friday, but I can’t help but feel guilty knowing that maybelline isn’t cruelty free.

The concealer is good! Not the best I’ve ever tried (sometimes it can pull itself off my skin while I’m blending it which is a pain), but it covers my crazy allergy eyes pretty well. Easy enough to spread, the shade is good for my pasty white skin and my stupidly sensitive skin doesn’t have any adverse reaction to the formula.

HOWEVER, being owned by L’Oréal, who sells in mainland China where animal testing is mandatory, all maybelline products are not safe for those who wish to adhere to a vegan/cruelty free makeup routine.

I won’t be buying this again, but it is a good concealer. That being said, there are good concealers on the market that are cruelty free so there are abundant alternatives to L’Oréal owned brands.

Good value but the palest shade is too dark for me!

I ordered the palest shade hoping it would be paler than my skin colour so I could use it to brighten and highlight, however when straight from the tube it is about my skin tone and once it oxidises It goes darker than my skin colour. I'm fair but definitely not the palest so if you have very fair skin I wouldn't recommend this product unless they bring out some more shades.

There are pros however. It came with a hygiene seal and is good value for money so if you don't have a very fair skin tone this would probably work for you. It has fairly good coverage for the price and the built in sponge applicator makes it easy to touch up under the eyes/in larger areas of the face. However, if you want to use it for precise lines such as to tidy up lipstick or around eyebrows you'd need to use a separate brush or precise sponge because the rounded tip makes it difficult to control where the product goes.

For the price I think it's probably worth trying.

Been wanting to try this for a while so decided to buy this set so I could experiment with shades. I’m not great at makeup and do basics only and wanted to see what they hype was and see if I can improve the look of my skin. The texture is lovely and it blends easy. Haven’t mastered the dark circles yet but there is an improvement after the first go. Hides the small red marks from old spots well but these are not my ideal colour. No idea what to try next but these are workable because of the brightener. Will probably purchase again but in a better shade. The blender is fantastic. Small but gets into all the areas of your face especially the nose and eyes. 3 stars because nude is far to dark for a nude in my opinion and would of preferred to have chosen the 3 shades. The small sample of micelles water would have been better in a proper bottle sample for several uses.

Over-hyped product!

It's an OK product, it is definitely over-hyped though, which most products on socials (e.g. tik tok) are, there is nothing special or different to it than every other concealor out there. I used to use revolution conceal and define and it's no different, the added sponge part is also a useless feature and it is pointless- it just hold all the product and make it hard to apply it, so I had to rip the sponge part of for the product go be use-able. Overall I expected more, I wouldn't say it's with the RRP price and I wouldn't pay the RRP price

Great product, colour not great

Easy to use and blend and lasts a long time as long as you don't twist every time you use it (you don't need to). This colour is too light and artificial looking however, it is very obvious on skin and highlights pores and dryness badly. Perhaps if you had extremely pale skin it might not be as bad, but I bought to use as a concealer /highlighter and I have bought the next shade up before and found that to have slightly too much a yellowish colour so thought this might be better but it was worse.

I bought the palest shade for myself as a person that looks like a victorian ghost and unfortunately it isn't pale enough. Luckily it matches my mother, (who is also very pale just slightly less), and she really likes it. Nice consistency and blends easily. Only downside is the sponge and how confusing it is to use at first. Figuring out you had to twist the top took longer than it should've haha

This seems to work ok & the colour is good (I’m fair skin & ordered the fair shade) but I’m not sure I like spongy end! My old under eye concealer was more like a little brush which was a bit more accurate in where you wanted to dab on the concealer. Maybe I’m just not applying it correctly or still need to adjust to a sponge applicator rather than a brush - however it does seem to blend & absorb well
