Thicker whipped than most products

Thickly whipped product but not greasy. A little goes a long way but not as easy to apply as thinner products. Absorbs quickly and a noticeable difference following application. Dont know if it has a long term benefit.

Moisturizing, takes time to see results

This is the first anti-aging product I've used. I don't have many wrinkles, just a crease on my forehead but not much else. This product took my skin a while to adjust to. I used as instructed day and night. For the first 2-3 weeks, it's like my skin wouldn't absorb it. I only used a small dot each for my forehead, cheeks, and chin but the product felt thick. My skin wasn't oily but did have a bit of a shine to it. Thankfully it didn't appear to clog my pores and I didn't have any breakouts. My t-zone is pretty acne prone. But after 4 weeks, for some reason the shine went away. The product still felt a little heavy but my skin seemed to absorb it better. At about 5-6 weeks, I started getting compliments on my complexion and tone. I honestly hadn't noticed but when co-workers, parents, wife all say the same thing, I must be doing something right! I think the vitamin C definitely helps. This product is a great moisturizer/resurfacing combo. I still use a lightweight moisturizer with sunscreen on top of this product in the mornings but now that my skin has adjusted to the weight, it doesn't feel as heavy anymore. I may start using this only at night as the weather gets more humid in the south and to ration the quantity. A little dab does cover a wide area but it's a small container at a high price. I didn't see any reduction in the wrinkles on my forehead but my complexion was definitely smoother and more even.

Decent Anti-Aging cream

As a guy in my late 50’s I have begun paying more attention to my skin regimen. I decided to give a try to Brickell’s anti aging cream. It is difficult to provide a fair assessment as I have only used the product for less than two weeks. However I am seeing a slight change in my skin tone over this period of time. From my research of this product I should see improvements after 30-45 days of use.

So far what I like about the product is that even though I have semi-oily skin, the cream does not go on heavy. The scent is OK, however I may go for the unscented version in the future. The jar is small however I feel the jar will last possibly 3 months.

I gave 4 stars as I would like to see if my “fine lines and small wrinkles” are decreased over time. I will come back and edit my review after a period of time and provide an update.

Overall I feel I so far like this product.

It is indeed very moisturizing. Hard to notice if it the anti-aging really works, but I like to think it does. It smells a little bit odd - like oats/oatmeal maybe? Only smells really when I'm applying it anyways. The biggest concern with me with this product is it supposed to be so runny and liquidy? I have the night time version of this and that cream is a lot better in terms of scent and consistency. This moisturizer also does make your face a little shiny though, which isn't what I like. I end up waiting a few hours and wiping some of it off so I don't look so greasy. It's about to be a hot summer, so I don't need that look, so I might have to stop using it for the summertime.

I love the moisturizing abilities of all the facial products. I prefer the unscented and they really don't smell much of anything. This product feels richer, it has a definite thickness to it which keeps in in place and from coming off with any sweat. It seems like it is going to be greasy on initial application, but as with all of these, less is much more. Your skin stays soft all day, however my one criticism is that for daytime wear this will give you a shine. After it absorbs for awhile you can lightly rub it in again which helps, but a more matte result would give this a higher rating.

I use the Brickell Resurfacing Anti-Aging cream as part of a regimen, it goes on after a shower and after an eye depuffing gel. The Brickell product, after consistent use, does provide noticeable results minimizing fine lines and improving the quality of my skin. I was at lunch with a colleague and out of the blue she said, "wow, you really have nice skin!" I will turn 57 in May so I'll take the compliment. I like to try different combinations of product for my regimen to try and dial in the stack that works for me. I will continue to use the Brickell. Hope this helps.

Great Product, Just Not For Me

I love all Brickell’s products and decided to try this Resurfacing cream after using the brand’s Daily Essential Face Moisturizer. First of all, this cream does work! After using it for a while, I noticed it helped decrease the view of my main forehead wrinkles and definitely made my skin look brighter, but I ended up taking a star away due to the fact that my skin became so shiny after using this. I normally have oily skin and this product did not help me with that shine like other Brickell’s products. So while the product is great, it’s just not for me - I may use it every couple or few days to see if that helps while using the face moisturizer on the other days.

I've used other products from Brickell before and they are all high quality and work as advertised. This one this one feels very lightweight and seems to absorb easily. With regular use my face does feel cleaner and less oily, even though this isn't a cleaner. but on the days I use this my skin does feel cleaner and softer throughout the day without being oily. It's listed as unscented, but when I put it on, it smells like dark chocolate and coffee liqueur. Maybe that's your thing, but it's not for me in the scent department. the good news (at least for me) is that the smell fades within a few minutes of putting it on, so that will not deter me from buying it again.
