This is the second time I buy tesa mosquito net; first time on Amazon. First, the box was slightly damaged but i didn't pay any attention to that. Then, I open the seal and say the net and the sticky tape. There was no mini- scissors to cut the net ( which came in the box the first time I bought this product). Then, the tape is not good and is already peeling off the window and it doesn't even have the tesa seal. I believe this is not original. you can see the old product has the cutter and tape with tesa logo and above tape was part of the new product ordered on Amazon.

Helaas…. Dit werkt niet voor een dubbel raam…. Dubbelzijdig tape is van zeer slechte kwaliteit. Had meer van dit merk verwacht.

De media kon niet worden geladen.

So easy to put up, have it one almost every window in my home. Really strong fabric and tape, my cat weights about 4kg and she tried to catch a fly and got stuck and there is no sign of damage on this thing! Very impressed. My cat cant pull it down but it is very easy to lift the fabric away to get to the window handle! There is only a little damage from when my other cat pulled at it, see video she went to town on it, minimum damage.

Best product ever!!! I currently have a problem with hornets. As i have a nest at the back of my house. They are attracted to light at night time. So I have been having windows open a crack and lights off everywhere, still finding them in the house, and basically not sleeping at night cause I keep waking up paranoid that a hornet is in my kids rooms or my own! (Slightly neurotic, yes I know and am well aware, but I do genuinely have a phobia).
Anyway, I trawled the internet for repellants, traps etc, and this popped up. I bought 3. I thought of I can at least safe guard my own and my childrens rooms during this heat wave at night then fab. Turns out 1 pack did 2 windows. (Unsure of exact measurements) so so easy to put on!!!!! Absolutely does what it says on the box, and i am now happily and comfortably sat on my bed with the window and curtains open and lights on full! I am so happy! (Cat is customers own and did not come with purchase).

Absolute life saver when you live by water!

This is an absolute life saver. The white colour isn’t invisible but it’s pretty close, so you barely notice it’s there. I used this for my windows so I could open them in the evening and leave the lights on, without attracting flies. The mesh is 10/10 for stopping houseflies and mosquitos, and maybe 8/10 for stopping other insects. I find that some tiny midgies do still find there way in, but it is such a vast improvement on life without the mesh that I don’t care. The only down side is the adhesion - the tape doesn’t seem to do very well with variations in heat (which is a bit annoying in England!). I’ve had the mesh up for a week now and since we had highs of 26 degrees and lows of 14 degrees - the tape has peeled away from the window and doesn’t want to stick back. I’ve fixed this by using command strips which are much stronger - but it was a pain to do and required quite a few packs of strips. This isn’t the end of the world, but ideally the whole product would be fit for purpose and I wouldn’t have needed to buy extra bits. Still recommend this product (but also buy command strips to save yourself a headache!)

After spending pounds and pounds buying the cheapest screens on Amazon, I finally craved to the higher price and bought this. Let me tell you, it works! The mesh is very durable, easy to cut, and doesn't look like a cheap old cloth. The adhesive is perfect! I always had problems with these falling but this one resisted the hot summer of 2018 and even some rain. Don't waste your money with anything else.

Review for the Tesa 55680 Insect Screen Standard:

Used this on double insulated quality plastic windows. Cleaning the surface of the window (free of fat or moisture) is important. The tape is white color, it doesn't have any chemical smell like some other tapes, and sticks well to the windows surface. The mesh has approximately 2mm x 2mm and it sticks very well to the tape if you do it right. It would be helpful if there would have been a tool to cut the mesh to size. The mesh and the tape received the "Blauer Engel" award which indicates that it is environmentally friendly. Happy with the purchase.

I really enjoyed putting up this window screen, it works great. I wish the screen had tinier holes but I think it's still the standard type of screen anyway, most of them have the same size holes. I've been using it for a week or so and not a single bug has gone through it. Because I have a window that opens outward I needed my window screen to be one I can detach, so I bought stick-on Velcro tape to go with this, and I used the strap that comes with the box for just the permanent edge.

I bought this as I grew tired of insects flying into my room at night.

Velcro tape can be absolute hell to remove so I did not use it. I decided to get some blu-tack in white and create a line of it around my window, and press the net into that line. At intervals around the frame, I then added extra blu-tack on top so it would hold better. It's not too difficult to lift up a small area to open and close the window. Keeps everything but the tiny tiny flies out and works great for the price.

Keep Out The Bugs!

With the hot weather looming this has been ideal for keeping out the flies, wasps, moths and mossies, the pests! It’s been a lifesaver on warm nights as we’ve been able to leave the windows wide open to let in any breeze and no bugs. It sticks very well to the window frames and it is relatively easy to cut to size. The netting holds firmly against the hook and loop velcro type attachment. All in all this has done exactly what we wanted.
